🎤 The Nate Bargatze Interview

Comedian Nate Bargatze is having a moment—or rather, multiple moments simultaneously. The clean comic is juggling an impressive array of projects that would overwhelm most entertainers, but Bargatze embraces the chaos with characteristic humor.
"I want to do everything," Bargatze admits, and he's proving it. Currently balancing a major arena tour, hosting the Emmys, promoting his upcoming movie "The Breadwinner," and running his Nateland company, the Tennessee native is redefining what it means to be a working comedian.
His latest ventures include:
Co-writing and starring in "The Breadwinner" with screenwriter Dan Lagana
Hosting the Emmy Awards with CBS's support
Touring massive venues like the Boston Garden with his clean material
Developing other comedians through his Nateland showcase
"It's every day is something," he explains about his packed schedule. The challenge isn't the work itself—it's learning to create boundaries. "I need to have structure around it because I don't you know, I never want someone to feel like they're a bother to me."
Perhaps most impressive is his commitment to nurturing new talent. "I hope to create a place, you know some space for you know, especially comedians when they get started," he says, channeling old-school entertainers "like Billy Crystal or like what they used to do. They did everything."
Bargatze's approach mirrors comedy legends who mastered multiple disciplines, positioning him as both a throwback entertainer and a modern mogul building the next generation of clean comedy.

Nicholas Cage is rumored to star in True Detective’s fifth season. Sign me up. I’m a card-carrying member of the Nicholas Cage Fan Club, been a member for two decades now. I love Cage’s charisma and random “what the fuck” moments that always leave me entertained. Positive news.
