🔪 The Gushers Fruithead Movie?
Gushers just dropped a horror short film starring Bradley Whitford, inspired by those unsettling '90s commercials where kids' heads morphed into fruit.
The film, FruitHead, takes that childhood nightmare and runs with it.
The plot:
Whitford plays Richard, a ruthless commercial director who uses dark magic to turn a child actor's head into a strawberry
The transformation scene is full body horror
Crew informs him they could've done it with CGI instead
The kid gets abandoned with his deformed fruit head
Years later, that former child actor Jacob (Chester Collins) seeks revenge. His strawberry head has ruined his life, and he's coming for Richard with the ad's iconic tagline: "A taste that will drive you fruity."
Mike Diva directed the short via partnership with Imagine Entertainment. It dropped on the Gushers YouTube channel Thursday, joining Angry Orchard's recent Jason Voorhees slasher film in the branded horror trend.
Whitford currently stars in Netflix's The Diplomat and has horror credentials from Cabin in the Woods and Get Out. His upcoming film Death by Lightning tackles President Garfield's assassination.
The fact that somebody pitched this insane idea and the people in charge said WE'RE DOING IT is all I need to know that the Gushers team has VISION. Haha. I love this. They turned an oddball '90s commercial into a 2025 horror short with a strawberry-headed monster. WATCH THIS! 🍓

DiCaprio asked him silly questions and told him “Just say or do whatever you normally say”. The “fourth or fifth” take is in the film.
