What to Watch | 3.4.2025

This week: Mickey 17 hits theaters, Daredevil crashes Disney, and the biggest flop of 2024.

👋 Ever feel like you can’t keep up with what to watch? Same. (And, most importantly, we’re tired of waisting time on sh*tty content). Each week, we’re going to tell you what to watch:

Must-watch on the Big Screen

Mickey 17 (90 🍅, N/A 🍿, 7.4 ⭐) stars Robert Pattinson as an “expandable,” meaning he’s repeatedly dying while performing dangerous tasks, and then being cloned.

This sci-fi comedy comes from Oscar winner Bong Joon Ho, who is obsessed with class warfare, such as in Parasite and The Host. 🎥 3.7.25

The best thing streaming today

Daredevil: Born Again (No Ratings Yet). Charlie Cox returns as Matt Murdock in this nine-episode series. Despite being on Disney+ (since leaving Netflix), the show is said to be packed with the same action (if not better) than before.

Be on the lookout for villains like Wilson Fisk (now the Mayor), a serial killer named Muse, and some other masked villains. 📺 S2E1 now on Disney+.

The critics got it wrong

Rambo: Last Blood (26 🍅, 81 🍿, 6.1 ⭐) puts Sylvester Stallone back into 1 of his 2 main roles of a life. The 2019 release did so-so, but the film has found new life on Netflix as fans await the next season of Tulsa King.

This was marketed as the final chapter in the Rambo series, but there’s talk of a Rambo: New Blood series or movie. 🎥 Now streaming on Netflix.

The biggest flop of 2024?

Megalopolis (45 🍅, 35 🍿, 4.7 ⭐). At 85, Francis Ford Coppola embraces his Megalopolis Razzie nominations with defiant pride. The legendary director self-financed the controversial epic, pouring $120 million of his personal fortune into a vision Hollywood studios wouldn't touch.

While audiences and critics remain divided, Coppola's unapologetic ambition offers a refreshing alternative to algorithm-driven filmmaking (read his post).
